| Dear Baxter County Resident, As you may know, I am a candidate for re-election as County Judge of Baxter County. From 1995 to 2004, I served you as Baxter County Judge. After 9½ years, I accepted a position with the Arkansas Department of Emergency Management, followed by a position with the Federal Emergency Management Agency. In those positions, I had many opportunities to learn how state and federal agencies work, but I no longer had the direct contact with citizens, especially in my home county. Since returning to Baxter County in late 2006, many people asked me to consider running for County Judge again, and I decided to do so. If re-elected as Baxter County Judge, I will work diligently toward the betterment of Baxter County. I need your support, your vote, and your input.
